1. Get a Roommate
What are you going to do with all that space? Get a roommate! Just be careful before you go and invite some crazy person into your life. You can list your room with the specifications on sites like tolet.ng or nigeriapropertycentre.com or property24.com. Caveat, you may be asked to pay a subscription fee to list your property on their site.

A lot of people don’t know that the AirBnB service is in Nigeria. How does it work? Follow this link here. The potential here is high, it is low risk and requires little to no capital because it is already your house!

3. Yard Sale
Clean your house and sell things you (or your parents) no longer need. It’s simple! There are so many new websites that allow you to sell pre-loved items on their sites. eg oncenout.com for clothes or even jiji.ng.
4. Use Your Head
You’re smart. You have free time during the weekend. You have kids around you just running around. Why not offer some of your academic skills to their family?
5. Invest
There’s Money Markets, Mutual Funds, Real Estate, Digital Farming, and what not. There are so many options to choose from! In 2022, passive income is king. All you need to do is stick your neck out and be smart about the ones you choose to invest in.
6. Get a Side Hustle
Turn your hobby to a business! Cooking, consulting, sewing, sketching, make-up, photography, whatever it is that you can monetize. This is our fave because you just have to keep being you with, you just have to amplify your talents so that people will know what you do.
7. Become a Blogger

8. Start A YouTube Channel
YouTube gets an amazing 5 billion views per day which proves its power on the internet. There’s no doubt how much money people are making online via this platform and you too can tap into the market if you do the right thing.
9. Do Affiliate Marketing
This is a type of performance-based marketing in which businesses reward you a certain percentage of commission for each product bought by the customers who were referred by the affiliate marketing effort. Usually, the referral is through your website so if you have a business website or personal blog and you typically get a lot of visitors, you should consider signing up. Basically, your customers click on a link you’ve provided and if that customer journey goes through to a purchase, you get your cut! Caveat, you should be very persuasive and realistic when you talk about products.

10. Sell Advert Space on Your Website
So you have a website, and plenty people seem to enjoy visiting your website, it feels great but that’s about it. What if we told you that you could feel even better because now, you can sell advertising space on your site!
